Package Two
Fractional HR Partnership & Strategic Support
Build the foundation, put it into practice, and gain an experienced HR partner who can support your leaders, employees, and long-term growth.
This package includes everything provided in Package One: HR Compliance & Operational Foundation, plus ongoing strategic guidance, manager support, employee relations, and HR process implementation.
We begin by learning your organization, assessing risk, and strengthening your HR foundation. As that foundation takes shape—and organizational understanding and trust deepen—Good Carma Consulting becomes an extension of your leadership team and a consistent, employee-facing HR resource.
This package is designed for organizations that need more than an assessment and roadmap. It provides an embedded HR partner to help leaders implement systems, manage day-to-day people matters, improve accountability, and build a healthier, more consistent employee experience.

FAQs
-
With Good Carma, you gain access to an experienced HR team—not just one individual. We bring a broader range of expertise across compliance, employee relations, recruiting, payroll and benefits, organizational strategy, and day-to-day people operations. Our support can scale as your needs change, without the fixed cost and infrastructure required to build a full internal HR department. We work closely enough to understand your business, leadership team, and employees while also bringing an outside perspective that helps identify risks and blind spots.
-
We provide both. Fractional HR means you receive experienced HR support for a set amount of time each month, based on what your company actually needs. Embedded HR describes how we work: as an integrated extension of your team. Depending on the engagement, we may participate in leadership meetings, communicate directly with employees, manage ongoing HR processes, and represent the HR function within your organization. Many of our client relationships are both fractional and embedded.
-
We primarily work with growing small and mid-sized organizations, often with approximately 10 to 75 employees. Our clients may not yet need a full internal HR department, may have outgrown an administrative approach to HR, or may need additional expertise during a period of growth or change. We also support multi-state employers and organizations navigating complex employee, compliance, or operational needs.
-
We support the full employee lifecycle, including:
HR compliance and employment policies
Employee handbooks
Employee relations and workplace investigations
Performance management and manager coaching
Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
Compensation strategy and job descriptions
Benefits and leave administration
Payroll coordination and HR systems
Organizational structure and workforce planning
Training and leadership development
Offboarding, terminations, and reductions in force
HR processes, documentation, and operational infrastructure
Our role can range from strategic guidance to hands-on execution—and, most often, includes both.
-
We offer both ongoing support and one-time project work. Ongoing engagements are best for companies that need consistent HR leadership and execution. Project-based support may be a better fit for a specific need, such as developing a handbook, managing a workplace investigation, building a compensation structure, delivering training, or supporting an organizational transition. If a project reveals a need for longer-term support, we can discuss what an ongoing relationship might look like.
-
We begin by learning about your workforce, business priorities, current HR infrastructure, and the challenges that brought you to us. We consider factors such as employee count, locations, growth plans, compliance requirements, internal resources, and the volume and complexity of day-to-day HR needs. From there, we recommend a level of support that addresses immediate priorities while building a stronger foundation for the future. As your business changes, the scope of our support can change with it.
-
Absolutely. We can serve as an extension of an existing HR team by adding capacity, specialized expertise, or senior-level guidance. We may support a particular initiative, coach an internal HR professional, help manage periods of increased workload, or take ownership of areas that are not currently covered. We define roles and decision-making responsibilities at the beginning of the engagement so employees and leaders know exactly where to go.
-
Once the agreement is signed, we begin with a kickoff meeting to align on priorities, roles, communication, and decision-making. We gather key documents and system information, meet the people who will work most closely with us, and review your current HR practices and immediate risks. Together, we establish an initial action plan, identify near-term priorities, and agree on a regular meeting cadence. Our goal is to begin addressing urgent needs quickly while taking the time to understand how your organization actually works.
Let’s Talk.
